Additional information about LSI is available at www.lsicorp.comWe are looking for a 2nd Shift - Drexel Forklift Operator to support our team at our corporate location in Cincinnati, Ohio.Summary:The primary responsibility of the Forklift Operator is to prepare, process and move orders productively, safely, and accurately per established production rates and according to established standards and guidelines. Associates will be cross trained to perform a variety of functions in various departments to support business and operational needs.Essential Duties:Ability to operate a standard sit-down forklift and navigate through tight areas.Loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing daily ordersPlacing received material into storage racksReceiving and put away product.Pick outbound orders.General warehouse labor support.Visually inspects products for defects, setting aside defective items to one side on a skid for the rework department.Packs items in designated carton per customer order.Places identification labels on outbound shipments.Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packagesReceive truck deliveriesReports discrepancies to supervisorThe ideal candidate will have:2 years Forklift and Material Handling ExperienceExperience operating Reach trucks and other D/C equipment operation experience preferredAttention to detailAbility to do basic mathAbility to speak, read, and write in EnglishForklift experience, reach trucks and other D/C equipment operation experience preferred, but willing to trainAbility to move up to 49 poundsAbility to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach continuouslyUse carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items aroundBenefits:401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offEEOCLSI is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
