Payrate $21.00/HR
Shift Mon-Fri 7am-4pm
Summary:
The Clamp Lift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating material handling equipment, primarily a sit-down and/or clamp forklift, to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment. This role may also include performing order filler or order checker duties as required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Stack and store merchandise in designated areas using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
Safely unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations.
Prepare products for shipment by pulling and ensuring accurate quantities and types of products are loaded.
Efficiently perform picking duties to meet customer service standards.
Load product from staging or storage areas into trailers.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Maintain records and reports to ensure inventory control and security.
Assist in physical inventories and conduct cycle counts as needed.
Ensure proper stock rotation to maintain inventory freshness.
Use RF scanning equipment to verify inventory accuracy.
Report safety concerns and inventory discrepancies promptly to management.
Complete inspection forms before operating equipment.
Basic knowledge of Excel and general computer skills required.
Job Related & Physical Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Minimum 3 months of forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per day.
Capable of lifting and/or pulling up to 50 lbs without restrictions.
Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching required.
Comfortable walking in a distribution center environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations.
Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must obtain NFI forklift certification.
Attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and basic math skills required.
