2nd Shift Reach Truck and Cherry Picker Operator

Pay: $21.70 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled 2nd shift Reach Truck and Cherry Picker Operator to safely manage material movement within a warehouse environment. The focused individual will operate powered industrial equipment to retrieve inventory, load and unload materials, and ensure safety and accuracy during operations. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to move, store, and retrieve products in the warehouse
• Load and unload materials using powered industrial equipment
• Retrieve inventory from elevated rack locations with reach trucks and cherry pickers
• Verify product accuracy during picking, replenishment, and storage activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures during daily operations
• Assist with inventory counts and accuracy checks as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding inventory and equipment status
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and operate equipment safely at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating reach trucks and cherry pickers
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers
• Capable of lifting and moving materials, including lifting at least 20 lbs or more as required
• Comfortable working at elevated heights in a warehouse environment
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols
• Attention to inventory accuracy and operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse setting
• Certification in forklift operation (e.g., Certified Forklift Operator)

Tools / Equipment / Systems:

• Reach trucks
• Cherry pickers / Cherry picker lifts
• Powered industrial trucks (forklifts)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Ability to stand, operate equipment, and move freely within a warehouse setting
• Safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers at elevated heights
