Off-Shift Production Supervisor
Findlay/Upper Sandusky OH area
$70,000 - $80,000 base salary
Our client is a global manufacturing organization that has been growing and physically expanding operations throughout the US in recent years. Through growth and internal promotion, they are looking to add another off-shift Production Supervisor to their Ohio manufacturing facility. These hours will be 12-hour shifts, 6pm to 6am (3 on one week, 4 on the next).
Main duties of the Supervisor include:
Lead a team of 2nd/3rd shift Production Associates in a high-volume fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility
Utilize tools such as Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement to help improve operations
Ensure all safety and quality goals are met
Monitor production schedules and vacation schedules to ensure the shifts are always properly staffed
Monitor performance of staff using specific evaluation methods, incentives and reviews
Qualifications include:
At least 5 years of experience leading production in a manufacturing environment
Experience with plastics manufacturing is highly desired, but not required
Strong Lean/CI mindset
Proven background of achieving safety and quality goals
Willingness to work 6 pm to 6 am hours
