What You'll Do
As a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T specifications accurately
- Performing detailed visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and optical comparators
- Conducting product and material testing with tools such as tensile testers, hardness testers, rheometers, and particle counters
- Completing First Article Inspections (FAI) and preparing detailed reports following AS9102 standards
- Conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products
- Entering, updating, and maintaining precise inspection data and quality records in our computer systems
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing setting
- Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace industries is highly valued and preferred
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, GD&T, and AS9102 FAI standards
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Comfort with routine computer data entry and quality management software
- Meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Location & Schedule
This position is on-site in Santa Fe Springs, CA, and offers evening shift hours from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, with mandatory overtime.
