SourcePro Search is conducting a search for an experienced 2nd Shift Sanitation Manager with 3+ years of sanitation or food manufacturing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong working knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, SSOPs, and HACCP. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
 
Hours are 3:00pm - 11:30 pm. 
 
The 2nd Shift Sanitation Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the sanitation team to ensure all equipment, machinery, and facility areas are cleaned and sanitized according to company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and efficient production environment for the next day’s operations.
 
What You’ll Do:
·         Supervise all 2nd shift sanitation activities, ensuring adherence to master sanitation schedules (MSS), SSOPs, GMPs, and HACCP.
·         Train, lead, and motivate the sanitation team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
·         Inspect equipment and production areas post-cleaning to ensure readiness for QA pre-op inspections.
·         Maintain accurate records of sanitation procedures and cleaning logs.
·         Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA, SQF, and company-specific food safety protocols.
·         Manage chemical usage, storage, and safety in accordance with OSHA and manufacturer guidelines.
·         Collaborate with Maintenance and Production to coordinate deep cleans, emergency cleanups, and shutdown cleanings.
·         Participate in internal and external audits and lead corrective actions related to sanitation findings.
·         Manage sanitation staffing, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
 
 
What You’ll Do:
·         3+ years of sanitation or food manufacturing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
·         Strong working knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, SSOPs, and HACCP.
·         Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
·         Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
·         Comfortable working in wet, cold, and potentially noisy conditions for extended periods.
·         Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
 
 
Physical Requirements:
·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
·         Standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders or stairs throughout shift.
·         Use of PPE and handling of cleaning chemicals required.
