Job Location: Champlin
Hours 345p - 215am M - Th
Job Summary
Install and terminate wiring onto newly assembled complex electrical systems. You will ensure wiring is run in a professional and organized manner that meets requirement of wiring diagrams and schematics. Wiring will be performed on low and medium voltage systems. Installation of electrical components per assembly drawing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Wire various control panel products
Install electrical components
Interprets electrical schematics/diagrams
Cut, strip, crimp and wire various AWG gages per print with high degree of accuracy.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with shop employees to promote feedback to drive product improvement.
Projects a positive, professional image of the company in all communications with customers, vendors and suppliers.
Make recommendations to management on manufacturing processes to promote lean manufacturing.
Assists in other areas of manufacturing as needed
Required Skills
Technical knowledge and ability to read various engineering and manufacturing documents including Bill of Materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams.
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
Additional Skills
Proven experience in wiring electrical components and systems
Technical knowledge and ability to read various engineering and manufacturing documents including Bill of Materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams.
