Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead and oversee our warehouse operations during the evening shift. This role will focus on managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of products while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate will be experienced in warehouse management and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Inventory Control: Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient space utilization.
• Product Handling: Oversee the handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Team Management: Supervise multiple forklift operators and stockers, providing guidance and support as needed to optimize workflow.
• Waste Documentation: Process incoming and outgoing waste documentation, maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety, health, and security rules, and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Hands-On Support: Assist workers in shipping and receiving activities as needed to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
   

Skills and Experience
 

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Strong people management skills, with experience supervising teams in a warehouse setting.

Educational Requirements
 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements
 

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods working in front of a computer and occasionally performing physical labor.
