Machining Operators for a respected manufacturing facility in
Ozark, AR. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, precision measurements, and quality-focused production. If you have a strong attention to detail and want an opportunity with advancement potential, this may be the job for you.
Requirements for the Machining Operator- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience are helpful but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Machining Operator Responsibilities- Operate machining equipment and tools to produce parts that meet required specifications and quality standards
- Read blueprints and perform measurements using gauges, calipers, and testing equipment
- Verify dimensions and inspect parts for accuracy and quality
- Identify defects and assist with troubleshooting production issues
- Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and finishing processes as needed
- Safely operate material-handling equipment and move materials throughout the production area
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
Physical Requirements for the Machining Operator- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and twisting
- Continuous standing, walking, and movement throughout the workday
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Pay and Advancement Opportunities- Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
- Eligible for a performance review after approximately 90days with the opportunity for a $1.50 per hour pay increase
- Additional pay review available approximately 3 months later
- Pay increases to $19.93 per hour when hired on by the client
