Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The 340B Auditor is responsible for the auditing and monitoring of the 340B Drug Discount Program for compliance with federal requirements/guidelines. This position will service locations as assigned by the 340B Program Manager and be responsible for completing and documenting audits as outlined in the 340B policies and procedures. Functions will include execution and documentation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly audits to verify adherence with the 340B Program regulations and/or guidelines. 340B Auditor will collaborate with other 340B staff to preform specialized audits/projects as required. In conjunction with performing internal audits, auditor will be responsible for assisting with external audits as assigned by 340B Program Manager. Additionally, the 340B Auditor will be responsible for preparing and uploading required data to 340B software systems while ensuring that all data is imported to 340B software systems as expected.

Employment Qualifications:
Education Qualification
Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma / GED
Preferred Education : 2 Year Degree in Business, Information Technology/Analytics, Pharmacy, or related field
Licensing/ Certification
Licensure/Certification Preferred : 340B University (Live / On Demand); National Pharmacy Technician License
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years' experience with pharmacy 340B required or; 1-2 years - progressive hospital or healthcare system pharmacy or healthcare auditing or healthcare business experience preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
Healthcare system knowledge base/skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to quickly learn technical systems such as EMR systems, retail pharmacy systems, and/or 340B software systems
Ability to work in a complex team environment and to collaborate with peers to complete required work
Strong interest in pharmacy practice advancement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communication style that is open and fosters trust, credibility and understanding.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred :
Knowledge of hospital and/or retail pharmacy workflows and/or operations
Previous drug purchasing and/or wholesaler experience
Previous work and/or training in 340B
Previous auditing experience
Experience with working with EPIC EMR system(s)
Knowledge of hospital billing practices and regulations
Experience in Microsoft Access
