3rd Shift Forklift Operator

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to support warehouse operations during overnight hours. This role involves operating multiple types of forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including cold storage areas. The position offers opportunities to develop your skills and grow within a team-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various forklifts, including Order Pickers, Dock Stockers, Reach Trucks, and Sit-Down Forklifts to facilitate warehouse logistics.
• Assist with packing and order picking to ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment.
• Load and unload goods safely within warehouse operations, following strict safety protocols.
• Navigate cold storage areas safely, supporting material handling activities as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient.
• Follow safety procedures at all times during forklift operation and warehousing activities.
• Use forklift certification to perform duties aligned with safety standards and compliance.
• Support inventory movement and manage warehouse logistics using appropriate forklifts.
• Maintain equipment in good condition and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Assist in maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to operate multiple types of forklifts, including Order Pickers, Dock Stockers, Reach Trucks, and Sit-Down Forklifts.
• Strong attention to safety and safety protocol adherence.
• Ability to work the scheduled overnight shift consistently (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
• Ability to work in cold storage environments with provided gear.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in cold storage or refrigerated warehouses.
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in order fulfillment.

Tools & Equipment

• Forklift equipment including Order Picker, Dock Stocker, Reach Truck, Sit-Down Forklift, Cherry Picker.
• Warehouse safety equipment and PPE.
• Standard warehouse management and safety protocols.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work in cold storage areas with cold temperature gear provided.
• Regularly lift and move loads over 20 lbs.
• Stand, walk, and operate forklift equipment for extended periods.
• Follow strict safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
