3rd Shift Knitt Operator

Nesco Resource is currently seeking dependable and motivated Knit Machine Operators for exciting manufacturing opportunities in Laurens, SC!

We are looking for hardworking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and have an interest in textile manufacturing. Candidates with previous experience in textile production, knitting machines, machine operation, or general manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial knitting machines and textile production equipment.

• Load yarn and other raw materials into machinery to maintain continuous production.

• Assist with machine setups, threading, adjustments, and production changeovers.

• Monitor equipment to identify yarn breaks, machine stoppages, and production issues.

• Inspect fabric and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Identify and report fabric defects, equipment malfunctions, or production concerns.

• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments as needed.

• Maintain accurate production records and document quality concerns.

• Keep machinery and surrounding work areas clean, safe, and organized.

• Follow daily production schedules and meet established productivity goals.

• Work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain efficient production operations.

• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and required PPE procedures.

• Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous textile manufacturing, knitting, machine operating, or production experience preferred.

• Experience operating industrial knitting equipment is a plus.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

• Ability to identify fabric defects and maintain quality standards.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

• Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
