Job Overview

Nashville Wire is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our 3rd Shift team. This position is responsible for operating forklifts, picking and packing orders, moving materials throughout the facility, and supporting production and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining product accuracy and quality
• Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
• Verify quantities, labels, and product information to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain inventory organization and storage locations
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Keep warehouse and production areas clean and organized
• Support production and shipping departments as needed
