Sanitation Crew - 3rd Shift

Pay: $20.25/hour
Shift: 11:45 PM - 8:15 AM

Birchwood Foods is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Sanitation Crew. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe manufacturing environment by performing sanitation and cleaning duties throughout the production facility and warehouse.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning in production and warehouse areas according to the Master Sanitation Schedule.

• Support wet wash procedures in production areas, including equipment disassembly and reassembly as needed.

• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Guidelines.

• Promote workplace safety and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Prior industrial sanitation experience preferred, but not required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies, up to 30 lbs.

• Work in cold, wet, and humid conditions.

• Perform work at heights and safely use ladders when needed.

Work Environment

• 100% on-site position.

• Regular interaction with production employees on the manufacturing floor.

• Work in a food manufacturing environment, including refrigerated and cold storage areas.

• Exposure to manufacturing equipment, varying temperatures, and production noise levels.

• Must follow all food safety, quality, sanitation, and PPE requirements.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.

Pay Details: $20.25 per hour
