Production / Plant Laborer Location: Greenfield, MO

Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday–Friday, 12:00am–8:30am
Pay: $15.30 per hour
Summary of the Role: The Production / Plant Laborer will assist with daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at Pennington Seed. This hands-on position involves handling, stacking, packaging, and organizing products while helping maintain an efficient production process. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing physical and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily production and packaging operations.
Lift, move, and stack bags of product weighing up to 50 lbs.
Stack and organize finished products onto pallets for storage or shipment.
Monitor products moving along production lines and assist with maintaining a steady workflow.
Load, unload, and handle materials as needed throughout the production process.
Inspect bags, packaging, and finished products for visible defects or damage.
Assist with bagging, labeling, sealing, and packaging products as assigned.
Keep production lines supplied with necessary materials.
Assist with clearing minor product jams and reporting equipment issues to supervisors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures, production guidelines, and proper lifting practices.
Perform additional general labor and production duties as needed.
Required Skills:
Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and stack products weighing up to 50 lbs.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to maintain a steady pace in a fast-moving production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
Willingness to learn different production tasks and assist in various areas as needed.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
Compensation: $15.30 per hour
