    Location: Mayfield, KY (42066)

    Salary: $68,000 - $91,000, based on experience.

    • Sign-On Bonus: Offered upon hire.

    Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Medical-Surgical team. This role provides direct patient care using the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being and play a key role in creating a positive healthcare experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments, according to the plan of care.
    • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
    • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
    • Plan, document, and evaluate patient care, ensuring alignment with clinical standards.
    • Coordinate patient transfers, discharges, and referrals while addressing spiritual and psychosocial needs.
    • Provide culturally appropriate patient and family education tailored to individual circumstances.
    • Serve as a patient advocate, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

    Must Haves:

    • Current RN license for Kentucky or a compact state.
    • Associate degree in nursing (minimum requirement).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained within 45 days of hire).
    • New graduates may work under a KY provisional license for up to six months, with the expectation of obtaining a full RN license within this timeframe.

    Nice to Haves:

    • Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
