4K (Preschool) Teacher

Shepherd''s Watch Christian Academy (SWCA) is seeking a part-time 4K teacher in Mattoon. Small class size, good adminstrative support and a fun and friendly environment make SWCA an ideal place to work.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will provide developmentally appropriate instruction while maintaining a structured and caring learning environment and fostering strong relationships with students and families. The ideal candidate brings patience, creativity, and a love for learning, along with a willingness to support and model Christian values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid Wisconsin teaching license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, team player and a nurturing disposition
• Commitment to supporting a faith-based educational environment
• Practicing Christian preferred
