5-Axis CNC Programmer

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a 5-Axis CNC Programmer/Machinist for an aerospace manufacturing company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in programming and running tight-tolerance aerospace components looking to further their career in aerospace machining.

•      Program, set up, and run 5-axis CNC machines to produce tight-tolerance aerospace parts

•      Write and run your own Mastercam code; troubleshoot programs and improve cycle times

•      Read blueprints and work orders; inspect parts with micrometers and other metrology tools

•      Log process and time data in the ERP/MRP system (JobBoss) and follow quality procedures

•      Maintain machines and a safe shop; support continuous improvement

Essential Qualifications

•      10+ years of aerospace machining and programming experience

•      Proficient in Mastercam with 5-axis CNC programming and setup; blueprint reading, metrology, and ERP/MRP skills; able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

•      High school diploma or equivalent
