What Youll Do
- Assist obstetrical patients with basic nursing care and personal needs
- Support surgical team during operative procedures in Labor and Delivery
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout the shift
- Prepare and handle surgical equipment and supplies according to surgeons preferences
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and care activities accurately
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist in patient safety measures
- Participate in educational activities and unit meetings to stay current on best practices
What You Need
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification from AHA, 1+ year Nursing Assistant experience preferred, completion of Nursing Assistant course within 1 year (if applicable)
- Preferred: 2+ years hospital experience, competency-based skills checklist completion, strong communication and teamwork skills
