Required Skills:
  • Valid RN license in New Mexico or current Compact state license
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, and TNCC via AHA
  • Proven experience in critical care nursing with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to efficiently utilize electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
  • Critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Point of Care testing procedures
  • Prior travel nursing experience
  • Additional certifications relevant to critical care specialty
  • Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Previous experience in emergency or trauma units is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to travel and work night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
  • Ability to adapt to new environments quickly
  • Willingness to comply with all state and federal healthcare regulations
  • Valid licensure, certifications, and compliance with hospital policies
  • Travel reimbursement, licensure fees, and certification costs covered when applicable
