What Youll Do- Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a hospital setting.
- Obtain and document initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities.
- Re-assess patients systematically to monitor progress and modify plans accordingly.
- Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans within established standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Perform Point of Care testing and other clinical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies.
- Participate in staff education, orientation, and quality improvement activities.
What You Need- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
- BLS, ACLS certifications from AHA.
- TNCC certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on unit assignments (e.g., CPI/De-Escalation, NIH).
- Minimum of relevant nursing experience.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
