What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a hospital setting.
• Obtain and document initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities.
• Re-assess patients systematically to monitor progress and modify plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans within established standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Perform Point of Care testing and other clinical procedures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies.
• Participate in staff education, orientation, and quality improvement activities.

What You Need

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS certifications from AHA.
• TNCC certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on unit assignments (e.g., CPI/De-Escalation, NIH).
• Minimum of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
