What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments for surgical procedures
• Assist in patient assessments before and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safety and quality standards
• Document patient information and surgical details accurately
• Respond to emergent situations promptly and effectively
• Support patient education and discharge planning related to surgical care

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
  • 2+ years of OR/Surgical nursing experience
• Preferred:
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Flexibility to float to other departments as needed
  • Ability to work rotating call nights and weekends
