What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care for post-cardiac cath, post-surgical, and high-risk medication patients
• Monitor patients on high-risk medications such as heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, and drips (ketamine, lidocaine)
• Care for respiratory patients on NIPPV (BiPAP, AirVo)
• Obtain patient assessments, prioritize care, and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform point-of-care testing, and document interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

What You Need
Required:

• Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Recent graduate or RN with up to 2 years of experience (considered for CN I level)

Preferred:

• Experience in telemetry, cardiac, or critical care nursing
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
