Electrician

Paramount Companies specializes in Commercial and Residential Electric and Low Voltage systems. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Security/Hardware Technician & Integrator to join our company.

You’ll be responsible for installing, designing, and troubleshooting electrical wiring systems. These systems can be located in commercial or industrial buildings, homes, large pieces of equipment, and machines. Our electrician may work inside or outside to properly wire lights, televisions, appliances, industrial equipment, and nearly anything requiring electricity to run correctly.

Electrician Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Exhibit trustworthiness and reliability
• Residential/Commercial experience required
• Service work & Low-Voltage experience a plus
• Ability to manage and supervise Co-Workers and tasks on Jobsites
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors
• Knowledge of local electrical codes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Education/Certification:

• 4 Years In-Field/On-Site Experience (Journeyman Certification)
• Valid Missouri Journey Electricians License
• Valid Missouri driver’s license with no adverse driving history

• Full Time Position - 40 Hours per Week (7am – 3pm M-F)  (Need to be able to handle Overtime Hours on a as needed basis & Flexible Work Hours)
