    Description

    Summary:
    In this role you will provide services to the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. The Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repair to a component level to ensure an efficient and timely process for completing repair orders and projects. The Repair Technician will utilize soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment.
    This position is for 2nd Shift and working hours are 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM from Monday to Friday.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs RF circuit boards used in RAN equipment.
    Troubleshoots to the component level.
    Work with Remote Radio Head (RRH) engineering team, interacting closely with engineers and technicians.
    Use network analyzers to gather RF data for reports in the support of RRH product development.
    Reads and works from schematics.
    Run PIM (Passive Intermodulation) test equipment to troubleshoot and repair antenna prototypes.
    Maintains satisfactory Quality performance levels.
    Maintain a clean, organized work station.
    Trains and/or assists other Technicians in aspects of repair.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience with receive & amplifier circuits.
    Electronics Certification.
    Pass a Technical Aptitude Test.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Must possess knowledge of RF principles.
    Possess soldering and de-soldering skills.
    In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
    Must be able to use signal generator.
    Must be able to use Spectrum analyzer.
    Must possess knowledge of VSWR, ACLR & feedback circuits.
