We specialize in fire sprinkler design installation service maintenance and inspections.Flannery Fire is seeking an experienced 669 Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our team in Kenosha WI. This role is responsible for the installation modification maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial industrial and institutional facilities.The ideal candidate is safety-focused dependable detail-oriented and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team.ResponsibilitiesInstall inspect repair and modify wet dry pre-action and other fire sprinkler systems.Read and interpret blueprints specifications drawings and project plans.Measure cut thread groove assemble and hang pipe and sprinkler-system components.Perform layout and installation of pipe supports hangers valves fittings and sprinkler heads.Coordinate work with project managers forepersons general contractors and other trades.Identify field issues and communicate potential changes material needs or schedule impacts promptly.Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in accordance with company and jobsite safety requirements.Complete required daily paperwork timekeeping and documentation accurately.Safely operate hand tools power tools lifts and other job-related equipment.Travel to project sites as needed.QualificationsCurrent UA Local 669 Journeyman status or equivalent documented experience and qualifications.Demonstrated experience installing and servicing fire sprinkler systems.Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.Knowledge of applicable fire protection codes and standards including NFPA requirements.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Ability to work at heights on lifts and in a variety of indoor and outdoor jobsite conditions.Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.Strong commitment to safety quality workmanship attendance and professionalism.Ability to pass required pre-employment screening consistent with applicable law.Preferred QualificationsExperience with commercial construction tenant improvement healthcare industrial or institutional projects.NICET certification or additional fire protection training.Experience with retrofit inspection testing or service work.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.What We OfferCompetitive union wages and benefits in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Steady work with a respected fire protection contractor.Opportunities to work on a variety of challenging projects.A safety-first culture focused on quality teamwork and professional growth.Davis-Ulmer and its subsidiaries are affirmative action and equal opportunity employers and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.Equal Opportunity Employer including disabled and veterans.DAVIS-ULMERS ENDURING PURPOSE To protect what you value most.Equal Opportunity Employer including disabled and veterans.
