The CMS teacher is responsible for the education of students enrolled in their subject area course. This includes planning and preparing a curriculum based on Indiana academic standards, delivering instruction, grading students appropriately, and preparing students for required testing. This job requires clear communication between the students, administration, and parents/guardians. CMS teachers work with each other in collaborating at both the grade level and by subject area. Appropriate licensure is required.
CMS teachers report to the Middle School Principal.
