GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the STAT-Stat Center department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

• Serve as a medical simulation specialist in the STAT Center.
• Assists with the technical and physical operation of the STAT Center.
• Operation, maintenance and care, programming and troubleshooting of all types of high fidelity simulators and specialty medical equipment used to delver life-like medical clinical experiences for faculty and students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor''s degree in a related medical or scientific discipline; or an associate degree or equivalent training in a related medical, scientific or technical discipline plus two (2) years journey-level work experience in a related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of human physiology and patient medical and traumatic conditions. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently utilizing critical thinking skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with human patient simulator (i.e. CAE, Laerdal & Gaumard) operation to include programming, maintenance and simple repair; experience with MS Office programs.
