QUALIFICATION S:

OVERVIEW :

Applicants

must

have

the

basic

knowledge

of

general

maintenance

work

and

be

able

to

move

furniture,

operate

power

cleaning

machinery,

and

perform

light

to

heavy

workloads

as

assigned.

Prior

work

record

must

demonstrate

good

working

habits,

excellent

attendance

record

and

supervision.

Prior

experience

working

in

the

capacity

of

school-based

cleaning

work

is

preferred

but

not

mandatory.

A

working

understanding

of

Health

Code

mandates

and

proper

sanitation

regulations.

Minimum

of

a

High

School

diploma

or

equivalent

is

necessary.

Major

Responsibilities

Include :

A

cleaner

is

responsible

for

sweeping,

dusting,

washing

of

glass

doors,

polishing

furniture,

and

such

other

duties

as

assigned

by

the

Custodian

or

Director

of

Buildings

&

Grounds.
