We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Executive to oversee large-scale structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from preconstruction through completion. This is a senior leadership position responsible for project strategy, financial performance, client relationships, and overall execution.
Key Responsibilities
Provide senior-level oversight of multiple structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects.
Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams.
Develop project execution strategies, schedules, staffing plans, and workflows.
Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control, change orders, and profitability.
Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, procurement, and field operations.
Monitor project schedules, fabrication progress, material procurement, and overall production.
Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
Identify and manage project risks, delays, and operational challenges.
Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
Oversee QA/QC, project documentation, and final project closeout.
Provide executive-level reporting and updates on project performance.
Qualifications
10+ years of construction management experience
Significant experience with structural steel, steel erection, miscellaneous metals, or heavy industrial construction
Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and risk management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software preferred
AISC/AWS knowledge preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
OSHA 30 preferred
Ability to travel to project sites as needed
