Software Engineer - Credit Front Office Technology About the Role We''re hiring a software engineer for our Credit Front Office Technology team, supporting loan origination and secondary CLO trading. Our team builds heavily with AI dev agents, so you''ll split time between hands-on coding and directing/reviewing agent-generated work - architecture, data modeling, and code quality are a primary responsibility. What You''ll Do

• Build and ship features across our stack, hands-on, alongside directing AI dev agents
• Make framework and tooling calls (when to reach for Redux vs. local state, an ORM vs. raw SQL, how to structure Pydantic models) and hold agent-generated code to the same standard
• Write clear specs for agent-driven work and review the output like you''d review any PR: functionality, architecture, code quality
• Design data models and schema changes - be able to reason if the database actually makes sense
• Apply credit lending / loan origination / CLO domain knowledge to catch business-logic errors tooling can''t
• Drive architectural decisions across backend, data, and frontend

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL and data modeling (especially for Datawarehouse)
• Hands-on Python: FastAPI, Pydantic, pandas/ETL - ability to build and debug this yourself as well as to review
• Solid React/TypeScript, including Redux and component architecture
• Real judgment about frameworks and libraries - not just how to use Redux, an ORM, or Pydantic, but when they''re the right tool and when they''re overkill
• Comfortable owning code review and technical approach - reasoning about and spotting bad abstractions, bad queries, bad schema design
• Financial services background, ideally credit/lending, loan origination, or capital markets/structured credit
