seeking highly skilled A&P Mechanic candidates for one of its clients in
Fort Worth / Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Our client is a recognized aviation,
aerospace, airline, manufacturing, or MRO organization supporting aircraft
maintenance, repair, overhaul, production, line maintenance, and/or
airworthiness operations.
Position Title: A&P Mechanic
Location: Fort
Worth / Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas
Job Overview: We
are hiring an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform inspections,
troubleshooting, repairs, routine and non-routine maintenance, and
return-to-service support on commercial aircraft in a heavy MRO environment.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with aircraft systems, technical
documentation, safety standards, and maintenance practices. Experience on
Boeing 737 and/or Boeing 777 aircraft is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform
scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, component
removal/installation, and operational checks in accordance with approved
technical data.
- Support heavy
maintenance, letter checks, preservation work, modification activity, and
aircraft return-to-service requirements.
- Troubleshoot
airframe, powerplant, pneumatic, hydraulic, landing gear, flight control, and
related aircraft systems.
- Read and
interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering orders,
drawings, and task cards.
- Complete
logbook, work card, and maintenance documentation accurately in accordance with
FAA and customer requirements.
- Maintain high
standards of safety, housekeeping, tool control, FOD prevention, and quality
workmanship.
- Coordinate
with Leads, Inspectors, Planning, and Production teams to meet aircraft
schedule and quality expectations.
What we require:
- Valid FAA
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license strongly preferred; Airframe license
may be considered based on experience.
- Minimum 3
years of commercial aircraft maintenance or MRO experience preferred.
- Experience on
B737 and/or B777 aircraft preferred; other Boeing/Airbus commercial aircraft
experience may be considered.
- Hands-on
experience with engine R&I, gear R&I, pneumatics troubleshooting,
rigging, ops checks, and flight control R&I preferred.
- Ability to use
hand tools, power tools, calibrated tools, test equipment, and maintenance documentation
systems.
- Must be able
to work assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, and variable schedules as
required.
- Must provide
tools as required by the client/tool listing.
- Strong
attention to detail, safety discipline, and ability to work in a team-based MRO
environment.
