Full Stack Engineer

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable APIs and back-end services.
• Build responsive, intuitive, and performant user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate actively in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and foster continuous improvement.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making processes for new features and system enhancements.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of applications by implementing appropriate measures.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience developing and deploying web applications from concept to production environments.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong expertise in at least one back-end programming language such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or C#.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, development, and consumption.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit/integration tests.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Prior experience contributing to open-source projects or maintaining personal coding projects.
