Indiana Universitys College of Arts and Sciences (The College) is a professional organization comprised of 3 schools (the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, the Media School; the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture, and Design), 80 departments including programs, institutes, and centers spanning the arts and humanities, social sciences, and natural and mathematical sciences and served by world-renowned faculty and skilled and talented administrators.
Academic Advising in the College of Arts and Sciences
We are a team of professional academic advisors and administrators dedicated to providing support and expert guidance to undergraduate students in the College of Arts + Sciences, including the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design, the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, and The Media School.
College Advising is part of the Academic Engagement and Student Experience team (AESE) in the College, along with the Walter Center for Career Achievement, the College International Programs Office, and the Colleges Undergraduate Recruiting Team. We are part of a wider community of academic advisors on campus and beyond. Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
