Job Title: Remote Academic Teacher

Hourly Pay: $24 - $36/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Support students in mastering academic concepts and skills in subjects such as Math, Science, Language Arts, or Social Studies
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and intellectual curiosity

• Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed

• Develop assessments and evaluate student performance

• Maintain accurate records of student progress, including grades, attendance, and behavioral reports
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student success
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and other professional development opportunities
• Use technology to enhance learning and teaching practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Academic Subject Area, or related field

• Valid teaching certification or state-required credentials

• Experience teaching in a classroom setting (preferred)

• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of academic standards

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
