    Description

Everforth ECS is seeking an Account Delivery Strategist to work in our Arlington, VA office.

We are seeking a Sr. Delivery Strategist and thought leader to engage directly with customers in early-stage, high-ambiguity ("Greenfield") environments and help translate mission needs into clear, actionable strategies. This role is responsible for bringing order to chaos- building deep customer relationships, leading strategic discovery efforts, and developing structured outputs that guide vision, strategy, and implementation. The ideal candidate thrives in the "gray space" and is equally comfortable facilitating executive conversations, shaping proactive strategic direction, and enabling teams to execute against defined priorities.

This is a senior, individual contributor role with significant customer-facing responsibility and influence across both customer and internal teams. This role will partner alongside the Account Growth lead.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

    • Establish trust and credibility with customers in early-stage or undefined environments
    • Engage stakeholders at multiple levels to understand mission needs, priorities, and constraints
    • Navigate varying customer perspectives and levels of readiness for change
    • Serve as a primary strategic sounding board and trusted advisor for senior stakeholders, providing informed recommendations and guidance
    • Balance subject matter expertise with a collaborative, customer-centered approach to shape narratives
    • Challenge assumptions and guide customers toward highly-effective, forward-leaning solutions

    Strategic Discovery & Problem Definition

    • Lead conversations that uncover true customer needs, pain points, and desired outcomes
    • Apply active listening, facilitation, and analytical techniques to clarify ambiguous problems
    • Assess organizational readiness and risk tolerance to inform strategic direction
    • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and collaborative discussions (virtual and in-person) using multiple communication modalities to drive clarity and alignment

    Vision, Strategy, and Implementation Development

    • Translate customer insights into structured outputs including Vision statements, Strategic priorities, Strategic Implementation Roadmaps, Frameworks, Diagrams and Models
    • Develop clear, actionable activity-based artifacts that enable execution by federal and consultant delivery teams
    • Ensure alignment between mission objectives, organizational capabilities, and proposed solutions

    Drive and Support Strategy Implementation

    • Provide hands-on support for the development and implementation of implementation plans aligned to defined strategies
    • Coach team members on strategic thinking, customer engagement, and artifact development
    • Validate ECS and customer understanding through incremental deliverables and feedback loops
    • Refine strategies collaboratively with customers to ensure alignment and clarity and continuously adapt deliverable outputs based on evolving customer needs

    About Company

ECS was founded in 2001 by experienced IT professionals with a commitment to quality processes, people and performance. Led by our Chairman, Roy Kapani, and an experienced executive leadership team, ECS provides our customers with solutions and services that support their critical needs and further mission objectives. This commitment has paved the way for expansive growth, year over year.

ECS gained market share in 2011 in the Department of Defense and Federal spaces through both organic and acquisition growth. In May, ECS completed its first strategic acquisition with the purchase of OAK Management, Inc., a leading provider of marine environmental services, ship systems engineering, maritime consulting and platform acquisition management. The OAK acquisition kicked off ECS’ intention to add tactical acquisitions as a part of its long term strategy to supplement and expand upon organic growth and to build enterprise value. ECS closed out 2011 with the acquisition of Paradigm Technologies, Inc. The Paradigm transaction added approximately 200 employees to ECS’ existing 900+ employees. Paradigm also added new Defense clients for ECS, including the Missile Defense Agency, the Navy’s Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems, the United States Marine Corps, and the U.S. Marshals Service.

In 2012, ECS completed the acquisition of iLuMinA Solutions, Inc. iLuMinA brings large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation and infrastructure design and development to ECS’ expanding capabilities.

ECS will continue to invest in corporate infrastructure and quality processes as we grow and enhance our ability to offer professional excellence to both our customers and our employees.
