Overview

ABM has an exciting new opportunity for an Onsite Account Director in Austin, TX. The Onsite Account Director will serve as the senior strategic leader supporting one of our key semiconductor clients. This role is responsible for overseeing all onsite operations, driving service excellence, and managing the client relationship at the executive level. The ideal candidate has strong experience within high-tech or semiconductor environments, exceptional communication skills, and demonstrated success delivering operational performance and customer satisfaction.

This position will act as the primary point of contact for the client’s leadership team and will ensure alignment between operational execution, contract requirements, and long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the onsite executive liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships with client leadership, engineering teams, procurement, and operations.
  • Lead strategic business reviews, performance updates, and continuous improvement discussions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and proactively address issues, risks, or escalations.

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily service delivery, workforce performance, and compliance with contract scope.
  • Develop and manage site-level operational plans, KPIs, and project timelines.
  • Ensure operational excellence in safety, quality, SLAs, staffing, and productivity.

Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Identify opportunities for service expansion, process optimization, and value-added solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal business units to drive new initiatives supporting the client’s semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Support long-term strategic planning and account development goals.

Financial & Contract Management

  • Manage site-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and prepare documentation for audits and performance reviews.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives while preserving service quality and client satisfaction.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor onsite managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee staffing plans, training, and workforce development aligned with client needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required

  • 7 or more years of experience in operations, account management, or service delivery leadership.
  • Strong background supporting semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or advanced industrial environments.
  • Experience leading onsite or embedded teams at a client facility.
  • Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and deliver business results.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience managing large multi-site or multi-functional operations teams.
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, cleanroom environments, or equipment maintenance programs.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
