3PL Account Executive (Client Logistics Manager)

Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, dynamic, and charismatic 3PL Account Executive to manage and grow existing client partnerships within our distribution center network. In this role, you will act as a consultative partner, aligning our warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics capabilities with your clients' business goals. The ideal candidate is an independent, resourceful problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced supply chain environment and brings a solutions-oriented mindset to a collaborative team.

A Day in the Life
  • Relationship Management: Own the client relationship at an overall organizational level, building long-lasting partnerships and managing inventory and growth forecasts.
  • Consultative Supply Chain Solutions: Recommend new logistics services, communicate rate adjustments, and align warehouse capabilities with client business goals.
  • Strategy & Supply Chain: Partner with internal transportation and operations teams to develop client strategies, including carrier selection, cost structures, and performance metrics.
  • Onboarding & Performance Reviews: Lead the 90-day onboarding review process for new clients and conduct scheduled profitability, KPI, and throughput reviews for existing accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with senior management, warehouse operations, and business development to implement process improvements that maximize client fulfillment efficiency

What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
  • Experience: 5+ years of business experience with direct exposure to 3PL account management, logistics sales, or supply chain customer service.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related major is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and CRM software. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Travel: Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel internationally.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, highly organized, adaptable to shifting supply chain priorities, and a great sense of humor.
  • Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
