About the role
As an Account Executive at Janie, you'll help dental practice owners and managers understand how automation can transform their operations. The right candidate is a confident, consultative seller who knows how to build pipeline, run compelling demos, navigate objections, and close deals. This is a foundational sales hire: you won't just execute Janie's sales processes, you'll help build them.
What you’ll do
- Own a full-cycle SMB sales motion, from first discovery call through demo, follow up, negotiation, and close
- Maintain an organized pipeline, ensuring that all deal data is updated and accurate in CRM
- Help evolve Janie's GTM playbook, sharpening messaging, objection handling, and competitive positioning
- Surface practice feedback to marketing, product, and support to refine Janie's pitch and offering
What you bring
- 2-5 years of full-cycle sales experience, including closing deals and consistently hitting quota
- Confidence building trust with customers whilst still pushing for the sale
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially with non-technical buyers
- Experience selling into healthcare, dental, or SMB/tech-enabled services (strongly preferred)
- Interest in building a startup and demonstrated ability to solve problems outside your job description
