Account Executive

The Vacancy

• Qualifications:Must have 3 or more years of sales experience in electric power industry in order to be considered (electrical maintenance, electrical safety)
•     Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, Business/Engineering/Technical preferredProven new business sales experience (hunter mentality)
•     Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and effective use of CRMPrefer working knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:
• o    
• Substations
• o    
• Circuit breakers
• o    
• Relay
• o    
• Cable
• o    
• Transformers
• Duties:Inside sales activities including:
•     Outbound DialingGenerating new opportunities
•     Daily prospectingExisting customers – retain and grow revenues
•     Pursue and close sales leadsResponsible for attaining annual sales quota
•     Limited overnight travel (i.e., tradeshows, customer visits)Portray AVO in a positive manner – professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, tact
•     Work with Marketing Department:Reach more customers
•     Messaging with prior customersDevelop growth strategies
• Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to work independently as well as within small teams.
•     Demonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to complete tasks on schedule.Strong organizational skills.

• Travel Requirements:2-3 business days trips, typically planned 1-2 weeks in advance
