The role, in one line
You will grow Payhawk's customer base and revenue, managing the full sales process from first contact to close, with a balance of customer focus and a drive for results.
What you will own
- Find and prospect new business at companies with more than 300 employees, across a range of industries.
- Multithread across accounts using cold calling, targeted email campaigns, social selling and networking.
- Run high-quality discovery calls that get to the root cause of a prospect's process challenges and quantify their impact.
- Qualify leads and research each prospect's business needs, challenges and pain points.
- Deliver sales presentations and product demos to senior executives that show the Payhawk value proposition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers and stakeholders in target organisations.
- Manage the whole sales process proactively, from first contact to closing the deal, and hand customers over smoothly to the account management team.
- Consistently exceed your individual sales targets and performance metrics.
- Keep every sales activity, customer interaction and opportunity accurate and up to date in Salesforce.
What you will need
- 3+ years in a sales role at a B2B SaaS company where you closed deals yourself.
- Experience selling to businesses with more than 300 FTEs.
- A track record of generating pipeline through cold outbound, so you can forecast consistently and keep sales volume steady.
- A track record of closing multiple six-figure ARR SaaS deals.
- A history as a top performer in a sales environment.
- Experience expanding and upselling a defined portfolio of accounts, which will be about 20% of your time.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, so you can identify customer needs and tailor solutions to them.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A highly organised approach to your work.
- Native French and C1 English.
