Brown & Brown is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our growing team in Fort Myers, FL!

The purpose of the customer service representative (CSR) is to provide prompt, efficient, and high-quality customer service within a high-volume insurance center. The focus of the role is customer experience to increase customer retention.

How You Will Contribute:

• Assists Account Manager in obtaining information from the client for new and renewal policies, updates applications, and policy details to prepare for market.

• Rates, quotes, and issues policies as required reviews policies and endorsements for accuracy for delivery to the insured and updates details in systems.

• Reviews and invoices endorsements for accuracy and sends to the insured. Prepares change requests to the company requesting policy changes and updates AMS360 and ImageRight accordingly and works in tasks in ImageRight.

• Prepares proposals for renewal on smaller accounts. Issues summaries of insurance.

• Prepare accounts for the market prior to instructions from the account manager or producer.

• Stays aware of industry changes and trends,

• Speaks with customers by phone or in person inside the agency office and manages day-to-day changes and requests.

• Provides proof of insurance including COI and EOP.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Currently 4-40 Licensed or within 30 days of hire.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• Strong technical insurance knowledge and background.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills under stressful situations.

• Strong team member who proactively assists all other members of this team.

• Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times.

• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.

• Advanced time management and organization skills.

Preferred

• Associate's or Bachelor's in a business or financial related discipline or experience in lieu of degree.

• Professional designation.

• Experience in AMS360 and ImageRight.
