Account Manager

This Account Manager position pays $30.50/hour and is a 3+ month assignment. Hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. The role is located in Cambridge, MA and supports a higher education/business school career services and employer relations environment, focused on employer engagement, recruiting operations, and student career support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and strengthen employer relationships to expand recruiting opportunities.
• Manage employer recruiting activities, including on-campus and virtual recruiting logistics.
• Advise employers on recruiting strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align employer partnerships with student career interests.
• Maintain and share company and industry intelligence with students and staff.
• Conduct company and industry research and prepare presentations and briefs.
• Support planning and execution of recruiting and networking events.
• Evaluate programs and recommend process improvements.
• Advise students on recruiting policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
• Represent the organization at student meetings, company visits, and career-related events.
• Provide data, metrics, analytics, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Professional experience in a client-facing or customer-facing role.
• Preferred background in financial services.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of financial services sectors including investment banking, investment management, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and diversified financial services.
• Experience working in higher education or corporate recruiting environments preferred.
• Ability to balance the needs of employers, students, faculty, and staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency and database/web literacy.
