Account Manager, Enterprise

Location: Home-based, United States (Central time zone)

Position Summary:

At Bentley Systems, we are looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to serve as a trusted business partner, helping major infrastructure leaders realize and execute their digital strategy goals. In this high-impact role, you will confidently chair executive-level conversations and masterfully navigate all phases of complex enterprise sales cycles to deliver next-generation asset lifecycle solutions.

You will own the strategic roadmap for your assigned accounts, balancing the stewardship of a robust, existing book of business with the drive to capture high-value whitespace opportunities. Responsibilities:

• Promote and articulate Bentley Systems' vision, strategy, and value proposition to designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and owners to help them meet and exceed their business objectives.
• Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with C-suite executives, Vice Presidents, and Directors to establish Bentley as a key business partner.
• Prospect for new business and drive strategic sales initiatives within your assigned territory to consistently exceed revenue quotas.
• Negotiate complex sales contracts and commercial service agreements to secure mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships.
• Develop, manage, and forecast a healthy sales pipeline by adhering to the Bentley Sales Process and meticulously tracking all activity in the cloud-based CRM system.
• Maintain deep product knowledge regarding Bentley's industry-leading software solutions and services to effectively address complex customer pain points.
• This is a full-time, individual contributor role expected to work 40 hours per week, requiring 10-20% travel to be onsite with users or for internal meetings and events.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of successful enterprise SaaS or software sales experience, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
• Industry Alignment: Deep knowledge of AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), digital twin technologies, or infrastructure engineering workflows.
• Complexity: Demonstrated experience navigating 6-12-month sales cycles and coordinating complex buying committees consisting of C-suite, IT, and Procurement stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Methodology: Formal training in elite enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or Strategic Selling).
• Scale: Prior experience managing and expanding a portfolio of accounts valued at $2M+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
