We're hiring an Account Manager to own and grow wholesale accounts across department stores and specialty retail. In this role, you will manage existing relationships, open new doors, and represent the brand at trade shows and buyer meetings. This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role for someone who already speaks the language of wholesale apparel — buyers, markdowns, sell-through, EDI, line sheets — and who's excited to bring that expertise to a fast-growing, category-defining brand
Location: 4 days in office in NYC
Pay: $85K-$115K
What You'll Do
Manage a portfolio of existing wholesale accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for buyers and retail partners
Identify, pitch, and open new accounts across department stores and specialty retail
Own the account management process end-to-end: line sheets, order entry, reorders, markdowns, and account reporting
Build and maintain seasonal assortments and sell-in strategies tailored to each account
Represent the brand at trade shows, market weeks, and buyer appointments
Track account performance (sell-through, reorder rates, doors) and use data to spot growth opportunities and flag at-risk accounts
Partner cross-functionally with brand, marketing, and operations to ensure accounts are set up for success (assets, launch timing, in-store support)
Stay close to industry trends, competitor activity, and buyer feedback to keep the brand ahead in the category
Manage accounts through Faire and NuORDER, keeping catalogs, pricing, and order flow current
What You Bring
5+ years of wholesale sales or account management experience in apparel, intimates, or a related consumer category
Ability to own accounts independently, from day-to-day servicing through strategic account planning
Existing relationships with and experience selling into department stores and specialty retail
Hands-on experience with Faire and NuORDER (or equivalent wholesale marketplace/order platforms)
A track record of both growing existing accounts and opening new ones
Comfort with trade show travel and in-person buyer relationships
Strong organizational and follow-through skills — this role balances relationship-building with day-to-day account operations
Based in NJ or NY strongly preferred; open to remote for a candidate with the right industry network and experience
Bonus: existing relationships with buyers in the intimate apparel, loungewear, or adjacent categories
