We are passionate and excited about how we can develop and utilize new technologies to shape and inspire changes within an ever-growing marketplace. As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for an Account Manager to join our Home Care Team.

You will be responsible to identify, develop and maintain profitable sales in the designated market in line with annual targets/sales plan and to negotiate best possible commercial agreements with customers.

In this role, success means building strong customer relationships, growing profitable sales, and representing Croda as a trusted partner in the Home Care market. You will contribute to a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter.

• Commercial growth: Sustain and grow market share with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Customer development: Build relationships with relevant contacts at prospective and existing customers, including R&D, Purchasing, and other key stakeholders.
• Account planning: Develop and implement Key Account plans, sharing them globally where applicable.
• Commercial agreements: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, rebate structures, sales contracts, and other contractual terms to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Relationship management: Set and maintain appropriate call frequencies and follow-up activities to support strong relationships at all levels within each account.
• Prospecting: Generate new customer opportunities through leads from trade shows, webinars, seminars, and other industry activities.
• Customer responsiveness: Manage sample requests and inquiries from potential new customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Market presence: Represent Croda professionally across the industry, attend relevant events, and maintain awareness of competitive activity.
• Sales discipline: Accurately report customer activity in C4C, submit weekly call reports and sample requests, and provide monthly opportunity pipeline and CRM updates, including quarterly reports.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, another technical field, or Business.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of success.
• Strong commercial acumen and sales capability.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including customer visits approximately three days per week.
• Experience using C4C, Qlik, Voyager, and general IT systems, or the ability to become proficient within three months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000.00 to $160,000.00.

This range reflects the base salary the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level. Additional compensation, such as annual bonuses or other incentives, may be offered based on eligibility and company policies.

Additional Information:

This is a remote position based in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana or New Jersey with expected travel.
