In this role, you will drive the sales of nitrogen and oxygen generation equipment and aftermarket activity, including quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share and maintain customer loyalty. The position blends support for major distributors with direct sales to customers.ResponsibilitiesGenerate revenue by selling equipment and aftermarket offerings to direct end users and channel partners. Develop the existing customer base and secure new, competitive accounts to expand IR presence in the market.Design and quote onsite nitrogen generation solutions to fulfill industrial customer needs. Products include nitrogen generators, booster compressors, compressed air equipment, accessories, turnkey installations, service contracts, parts, service, and rental equipment.Stay current with product knowledge, industry standards and required training. Execute continuous improvement strategies and exceed customer satisfaction. Achieve all assigned sales targets.Provide selling skills and product/services training for dealer sales personnel (as required) and end customers. Partner with the services team to understand products and services and anticipate customer needs.Ensure all orders obtained are error‑free with correct customer documentation. Resolve customer disputes and manage costs associated with selling efforts, including travel and entertainment expenditures.Adhere to safety rules (vehicle safety, customer site safety) in the field.Earn customer loyalty by collaborating cross‑functionally and leveraging support from the services team to troubleshoot issues or offer solutions.Maintain the Customer Relationship Management database, recording interactions, assets, agreements, contacts, and opportunities. Provide feedback on market conditions and drive the sales pipeline of all account activity with daily reporting.RequirementsHigh School Diploma.4+ years of experience in an industrial sales business setting.Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations (e.g., DUI in the previous 5 years; hit‑and‑run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years).Core CompetenciesExcellent relationship‑building and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written and presentation communication.Build solid relationships with customers, key institutions and team members.Honest, self‑motivated and team‑oriented.Ability to work within a team environment and independently.Mechanical and electrical technical expertise required.Assess customer needs, analyze and interpret, perform basic equipment performance calculations, and recommend technical solutions.Proven business and sales acumen, including prospecting accounts, navigating within customer organizations, value‑selling, and winning competitive accounts.Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills.PreferencesBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.Knowledge of Nitrogen/Oxygen Generation.Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements50%+ overnight travel to customer sites is required.Pay RangeThe total pay range for this role, including incentive opportunities, is $110,000‑$120,000. The disclosed pay range estimate considers factors such as skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
