Job Summary
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for new business development and account growth within the greater Houston area. You will sell a full portfolio of building technology solutions - audio visual (AV) solutions, power and cooling, building automation, smart buildings, data center infrastructure, and physical security-using a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, and relationship building
Grow existing accounts through cross‑selling and upselling technology solutions
Sell integrated solutions including:
Power and cooling systems
Building automation and smart building technologies
Commercial Audio-Visual systems (conference rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, digital signage, and collaboration solutions)
Physical security and supporting IT infrastructure
Own the entire sales cycle from discovery through close
Conduct customer discovery to understand business, operational, and technical requirements
Design and present integrated AV and building technology solutions to multiple stakeholders (IT, facilities, executives)
Collaborate with engineering, sales operations, and vendor partners to scope and deliver solutions
Develop territory, account, and business plans to drive revenue
Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales contracts
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM tools
Participate in ongoing training related to AV technologies, smart buildings, automation platforms, and emerging solutions
