Position Overview


We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join a successful State Farm independent contractor agent's team as an Account Representative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, identifying customer needs, and helping customers understand insurance options that can help protect what matters most to them.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide ongoing follow-up as needed.
• Conduct needs-based conversations and account reviews to help customers understand available insurance options.
• Develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and a consistent commitment to achieving individual and agency goals.

Requirements

• Previous sales experience preferred, including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals preferred
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to take initiative and proactively solve problems
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
• Ability to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license
• Ability to obtain a Life and Health insurance license
