As an Account Representative with Colton Kantola State Farm, you’ll play an important role in growing the agency while helping customers protect what matters most.
This is a relationship-driven sales position for someone who enjoys connecting with people, identifying needs, and recommending insurance and financial products that provide meaningful value. You’ll develop new business, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and help customers make informed decisions about their coverage.

Responsibilities
Generate new business through leads, referrals, networking, community outreach, and agency marketing campaigns.
Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance products.
Quote, explain, and sell insurance policies while helping customers understand their coverage options and benefits.
Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospects, following up effectively from initial contact through policy issuance.
Develop relationships with existing customers to identify cross-selling opportunities and additional coverage needs.
Support policy retention and renewals by reviewing coverage, identifying changes in customer needs, and recommending appropriate adjustments.
Conduct outbound calls and follow-up activities to achieve agency goals for new business, retention, and account growth.
Participate in agency marketing initiatives, networking opportunities, and community events to generate qualified leads.
Prepare applications, collect required documentation, and ensure accurate and timely submission of policy information.
Maintain accurate customer records, prospect information, and sales activity within the agency's CRM and management systems.
Guide new customers through onboarding, including effective dates, payment options, required documentation, and next steps.
Collaborate with agency team members to achieve individual and team sales goals and improve conversion rates.
Stay knowledgeable about State Farm products, underwriting guidelines, and competitive positioning.
Address customer questions related to coverage, policies, and billing with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
Pursue ongoing professional development and licensing opportunities, which may include Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as applicable to the position.
Follow applicable compliance, suitability, privacy, and confidentiality requirements when selling and servicing insurance and financial products.

Compensation
Competitive base compensation plus performance-based incentives.
Commission and/or bonus opportunities based on individual and agency results.
Base Pay of $14.00/hour.
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must successfully complete applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
